Cyberons™ for Java provides everything necessary to develop full-scale network management systems. Cyberons for Java includes the SNMP Manager Toolkit which is a Java class library for developing SNMP management applications. It supports all SNMP management operations such as encoding, decoding, protocol data unit exchanges, and transport. It provides both synchronous and asynchronous mechanisms for exchanging PDUs with SNMP agents. Support for addressing IPv6 SNMP entities has been added on platforms supporting IPv6 in the underlying Java JRE.

The toolkit implements SNMP v1, v2c, and v3 protocols and includes high-level functionality like accessing columnar and row data from tables and efficiently discovering devices.

In addition to the SNMP Manager Toolkit, Cyberons for Java includes a powerful MIB compiler and a sample MIB Browser and an SNMP Discovery Toolkit. It also includes an SMTP Client Utility; a TFTP Client Utility; and a customizable HTTP Server Toolkit.
